The week and ME bench

Busy week. Was in Ohio Monday and Tuesday interviewing and Dave borrowed my truck on Wed & Thurs and I watched the littles on Friday so no training happened. I wish I could have gotten into the gym. I needed to work the edge off a bit.

The interview(s) went ok. They are going to interview another guy in a week or so and let me know what decision they make. If they want to offer me the job they will fly Lisa and me out for a weekend to check out the area. Not certain how I feel about it all. Good guys and a good company. The area is pretty. I need work so I'm up for it if God provides in this fashion.

Intended to do more but felt like doodie. Not sick or anything, just didn't feel strong. Haven't slept well all week and there has been a fairly high stress level around here for a variety of reasons.

Hopefully training will be a little more regular this week.

Both reps felt good. There was absolutely zero give in the shirt. No belt was used and I don't think I ever could again with this shirt. 1 boards next week. I will push it a bit more then.

Not sure what to make of my work/non work situation. I am getting the Idea I am supposed to make this deal in Ohio work out. Actually I think this is where God may be leading us. None of my efforts have panned out AT ALL and these guys found me. Seems like a good outfit. It will be tough to relocate. But we can do it with God's help. I need to mellow out about stuff. I've been kinda pissy and don't like that. Gotta let go and let God.

World situation is progressing south. There has been a real anti Christian anti Bible movement that is getting big and strong. We believers need to spiritually sack up and be prepared. It's going to be bumpy before it stays good for a long time.

It was a good meet. Lots of good lifting happened.

I need to figure out how to get this shirt patched. Perhaps Valley Leather on State could do something for me. Maybe a furniture upholstery place...

Got a call from a concrete repair shop in Ohio. They want to fly me out for an interview. Not sure about this but I am going to see what's up.

Sat June 7 ME bench

I had meant to go to 375 but didn't think it through and instead of just grabbing nickels to throw on top I swapped quarters for 35's. I really would have gotten the 375, really. 385, I wondered why it fealt heavy...

What is going on today? I must have looked frail or something the way people were grabbing the bar from me.
But, I finally touched! The trick was not wearing my belt for the lighter weights. It allowed the shirt to ride up more. Need to practice more this way to be more comfy for a meet.

Parker lifted me off 3-4 times today and did a great job. Moosie has done well with that kid.

Trying to find a job is so old. Not sure what God has planned. Sending out aps and resumes but getting only a couple of nibbles. Thought I was getting bites but was just getting sniffs.

Good time. Dick was there and is getting more flexible. Also saw Aaron Chavez and his buddy Luke. Aaron is looking big. He says he is about 340. Strong as well. Repping 315 on inclines. He said he may do the APF meet in August.

Kinda bummed. Not hearing from people that have shown and interest employment wise. Not seeing much on any of the lists either. Gotta relax and stay in God's timing on this. Some days that's easier said than done.
