I stuck around and helped critique Michelle's DL form. Her hips come up too fast on heavier weights but her torso is so short and her levers so good she can pull well when her form is off. She hit 225# for the first time last week and pulled 245# on her second try last night. Nice effort.

weigth was 281 this AM. Almost have lost what I put on @ Mike's Super Bowl Gala. Under 280 tomorrow.

20th anniversary next week. It has been a journey. Kids are almost all grown, Danielle is the youngest and turns 18 in May and graduates in June. Lisa and I have never really been alone in our house for any period of time. We got married when Dave was like 5 and Ward was 2 somehthing maybe 3. I'll be honest and say that I am a bit fearful of this next period. I will enjoy the quiet of the house but I don't want it to be too quiet. I would love for this to be a time where we can get to know each other but I'm worried that may not happen. I guess I should just take things one day at a time and keep praying. The kids have been such a big part of Lisa's life, I'm not sure how I will stack up being the only other one in the house. God knows.

Ward comes home for leave in less than 100 days and that is great. I am hoping that the relatives coming to see him make their plans to include Danielle's graduation. She already feels like an after thought a bunch of the time. She is a good kid.

The world keeps on spinning and spinning. I am shocked at the idiocy and short sightedness of our left in the US. They have no thought or clue as to what wil happen if/when we pull out of Iraq. We may need to do some sort of pull out after we get things accomplished with our surge. Who knew the Iraqi locals would lack the stones to do anything for themselves? Who knew that the Shia and the Sunnis would start their civil unrest again. Oops actually we probably should have thought about that. In any case our presence is an obstical to Iran. Even if the Iraqi's don't stand up for themselves, it's good that we have slowed the nutbag in Iran.

Gotta go. Things to see and people to do.

Maranatha

God Bless!
